Football in Malaysia is more than just a sport — it's part of who we are. From cheering on Harimau Malaya at Stadium Bukit Jalil, to following the drama of the Malaysia Super League every weekend, to staying up through the night for EPL and Champions League matches — Malaysian football fans are among the most passionate in the region. WM996 understands that passion, and that's why our football betting platform is built specifically to meet the needs of local players from every corner of the country.
Football betting isn't just about picking your favourite team and hoping for the best. Those who succeed over the long run are the ones who approach it like an analyst — studying records, understanding statistics, assessing team strengths and weaknesses, and making decisions backed by solid information. WM996 provides all the tools you need to do exactly that, more effectively.
No league runs deeper in the hearts of Malaysian football fans than the Liga Super. Clubs like Johor Darul Ta'zim, Selangor FC, Kedah FC, Penang FC, and Terengganu FC carry the pride of their states onto the pitch every week — and when they clash, the intensity and local passion is something no foreign league can replicate.
WM996 offers full coverage of the Malaysia Super League with match-by-match markets updated in real time. You can place bets before kick-off or take advantage of in-play markets while the match is ongoing — odds shift with every development on the pitch, creating value opportunities that simply don't exist in conventional pre-match betting. With Johor DT consistently dominating in recent seasons, and Selangor FC, Kedah, and Penang always pushing near the top of the table, every Super League fixture is a compelling betting opportunity.
The English Premier League is the most followed football league in Malaysia in terms of viewership and betting activity. Many WM996 players follow the EPL closely — knowing every team, understanding each manager's tactics, and keeping a close eye on player statistics. This depth of knowledge is a valuable edge when making betting decisions.
WM996 offers an exceptionally comprehensive range of EPL markets — from standard 1X2 to specialist bets such as total corners, total cards, first goalscorer, and correct score. The EPL odds at WM996 are among the most competitive in Malaysia's online football betting industry, ensuring you get the best value on every bet.
Asian Handicap is one of the most popular betting formats among Asian players, including Malaysians. Unlike the conventional 1X2 market with three possible outcomes, Asian Handicap offers only two — making every bet easier to analyse and the odds more competitive. WM996 offers Asian Handicap on virtually every football match covered, with lines that are continuously updated to reflect the latest team conditions.
For newcomers, Asian Handicap can seem a little confusing at first — but once you understand how it works, you'll see why it's the go-to choice for experienced bettors. WM996 provides a comprehensive guide on how to read and use Asian Handicap effectively to maximise the value of your bets.
One of the most loved features among WM996 users is the in-play betting market, which lets you place bets while a match is in progress. Odds are refreshed every few seconds based on what's happening on the pitch — if the leading team starts to look vulnerable after losing a key player to injury, their odds shift immediately, creating value opportunities that simply didn't exist before kick-off.
In-play betting demands focus and the ability to read a match quickly — skills that true football fans who follow every minute of the game naturally possess. Whether you watch Liga Super Malaysia every week or stay up through the night for EPL, WM996's live betting is the best way to put that knowledge to work.
WM996 supports all major Malaysian payment methods, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free deposit and withdrawal experience. You can top up your account via Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, or ShopeePay in just seconds. If you prefer online banking, FPX supports all major Malaysian banks including Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, RHB Now, Hong Leong Connect, and Bank Islam.
The minimum deposit is just RM10 — meaning you can start betting without committing much, perfect for newcomers who want to try the platform before scaling up. Winning withdrawals are processed quickly — VIP members receive payment within 5 minutes, while regular members typically get their funds within 1 to 2 hours. There are no hidden fees for deposits or withdrawals.
With over 400,000 active users following and betting on football every month, WM996 is Malaysia's largest and most active football betting platform.
